films… some good and the bad

Am I the only one who didn’t like, no actually hated, the film Mama Mia I curled up in a ball of total embarrassment when the 3 males leads, all fine actors, were on screen and very nearly had to eat my own spleen when they sang!

Great films that sort of slipped under the radar, good little films, but sadly probably no longer available are
‘the station agent’ a gentle but beautiful film (American), Directed by Thomas McCarthy. With Peter Dinklage, Paul Benjamin, Jase Blankfort, then there is ‘very annie mary’ Directed by Sara Sugarman. With Rachel Griffiths, Jonathan Pryce, Ioan Gruffudd. a wonderful feel good factor…well at the end it is, and ‘an awfully big adventure’ Directed by Mike Newell. With Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, Georgina Cates,
have to say I am a sucker for anything Alan Rickman is in, but that said, this is a honey of a film…. cupcake x
