This week has seen the tragic death of the stunningly beautiful and talented actress Natasha Richardson. She has left behind her husband Liam Neeson and her beloved sons, this is going to be very tough time for the whole family, her mother Vanessa, aunt Lynn Redgrave, sister Joely, uncle Corin Redgrave, the whole acting dynasty.
It would seem that had the first ambulance not been turned away she may well have been saved… it was such a ridicules thing to have happened, on the nursery slopes having lesson, it all seemed so safe, but a little fall, a little bump in the slush, but laughing it off may have cost the actress her life.
She moved to New York almost 20 years ago and was quoted as saying it was to escape the public fascination of her ‘larger than life family, the Redgraves’, they are known as a very talented and colourful family.
She was married to the producer Robert Fox, from yet another well known family who have passed the acting gens down the line.
She met Neeson in 84′ and they married in 94.
Ironically Neeson played the part of a single father who had lost his wife in the film ‘Love Actually’ a few years ago.
Another sad loss on this mothers day is Jade Goody after a brave struggle, her fight with cancer ended today.
Our hearts go out to the families of both woman, in their own way they have both shown us a fatal danger that could be avoided or at best be aware of essential early treatment and to be aware of the warning signs.
