Is it just me or is the latest trend in footwear looking very much like the old ‘corrective boot’ kids in school were scared of! I may have been very young at the time and I am not sure what is used now.. but every time I open a fashion mag there they are….
They may well come in stunning colours and delicate suede’s and leathers but they still look hideous! they are also incredibly high…. I watched a beautifully dressed young woman the other day trying to walk down some stone steps…. not wanting to offend I did not rush to help her but felt on stand-by to pick her up should the worse happen.
Stappy, peep toes, wedge and very high heels…. what on earth will our feet be like in 20 years time??
I am not suggesting everyone wear ‘crocs’ or ‘uggs’ (although they are without doubt the most comfy of all footwear, even beating the good old trainer)… but come on designers, help us out here! we want to look sexy, trendy and female!
…..or are you just having a laugh!!!
