Now for the big dance off… between strictly or x factor… actually we can all watch one and record the other so its not really a big war between the two shows… and its a wonderful way to welcome the autumn once again.
I must admit I am more of a dance fan… but hubby prefers the odd world of wannabe’s, I am a fan of the delightful Lynda B, she is trying so hard and I thought that she was going to throw up with nerves on sat pm…. her first dress was awful but the little red number much better…. she is doing it for the ‘women’, the little blond Ali from the Bill and I believe was in Hollyoaks for a time is great to watch, she is doing it for the ‘girls’…
As for the fellas well its early days but I guess Ricky is up there for ‘entertainment’ value, not sure about any of the others yet.
Will the people who vote … vote for their fav person or the best dancers… going by last year and John S… it may be the fav’s will take a lot of votes
Is this the programme to help the nation get up and dance… as I watch each couple take to the floor I really want to join in.
Where as the X Factor does NOT make me want to sing…. its a cruel world out there and some kind person should have taken some of the entrants aside and told them “NO… .don’t do it… 5 minuets of fame is not worth the ridicule and laughter ringing in your ears” … do the producers think it makes for better telly and therefore higher ratings?
That is one of the main reasons I prefer Strictly…. it is no where near as cruel! and they do wear very pretty and sexy gear… oh and so do the girls!
one last word about….. ageism… and the departing Arlene P… well tell me this, how come they keep rolling out vey OLD Bruce ????
