BIG KNICKERS

 

I know I have come to these very late…. long after Bridget Jones gave us all a clue that  BIG KNICKERS are fab

Purchased by mistake, I ordered them on line and yes they are M&S, they arrived with a couple of other things and I riped open the pack (a pk of 5! good value) throw my old high leg with loose elastic out with a flourish of gay abandon!

The new ones were all rolled up so I stashed them straight into the washing machine and then into my draw, let it be said here I am not that tidy and do not have a system in my draws (no pun intended) it is a case of what ever is on top of the pile gets used first… they are all black or white ( my fancy coloured and sexy ones are not for every day wear!)  so the only choice made depends on what will be going on top!

Now I will get back to the point…. next morning pull out a pair only to discover the are big…. and I mean really big, they come right up to my waist (what’s left of it) they are ‘granny knickers’ and they are  simlpy  fantastic….                                                                                            

I seriously thought I had hit the button, on the web site, of my usual little high legs…I was wrong, far too late to return them, as I had recycled all the packaging, not bragging but were I live you get naughty stickers on your bin if you put anything in the wrong one! I feel 12years old sometimes!…      but no matter… after a full day of wear I have fallen in love with the big knicker….

Needless to say I do not wear them at weekends when hubby is going to be around…. or out in the evenings… but for every day they are so comfy…. no more PIB (pants in bum) or that dreaded thing when they slip under your little apron of tummy…. yes I am that woman…. no matter how much exercise I cannot get rid of that second stomach! They look great under jeans and skirts and well anything…. who would have thought it!

So a very happy mistake…. I sit here in what a friend of mine used to call her ‘big Ritas’  I used to scoff when I saw them but now I am a true convert.
