Hard drive headache

A couple of days ago my hard drive died.  Well, not strictly my hard drive, the devious litttle devise lurking in the depths of my laptop which somehow makes all the words miraculously appear on screen and e-mails arrive by first class post.    I’m totally lost without it, and early prognosis is that its terminal.  To make matters worse, the mouse on major back up computer has also gone into freefall, in sympathy one must summise.

The only solution, of course, was to go shopping.  So my consolation prize is now  on the floor of my dusty wardrobe, hiding until an appropriate time when it is decent for them to appear in front of an audience – or when bank statements allow.

The ‘they’ in question are one very lovely pair of boots - this time ankle, brown, very cowboy (very now!) and very distressed.

Hard drive?  Who cares!
