ACTOR JACK RYDER Q&A INTERVIEW

 

Actor Jack Ryder is probably best known for his role of Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders he has also done Panto, Radio and a lot of theatre.

 Between 18 September and 27 September 2008, Jack played Romeo in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at Swansea’s Grand Theatre, with Sara Lloyd Gregory playing Juliet. The production subsequently embarked on an extensive UK tour.

In October 2008, Ryder joined The Archers as Ryan.

Jack has just recently finished a West End run on Calender Girls at the Noel Coward Theatre, in which I played Lawrence and assisted directed and am currently assistant director on the touring production.

We caught up with Jack with our Q&A interview, he is utterly charming, a really lovely bloke. Here is a little insight to Jack Ryder.
 
 

Cupcake   do you twitter?

 No.     Never.

Cupcake    I love black and white movies. Do you have a favourite genre of film, maybe horror or  Film Noir, comedy or documentary?

 Anything by David Lean.

Cupcake  What was the last thing you read?

 The Ginger man by J.P. Donleavy.

Cupcake     What’s your favourite comedy TV programme, present or past?

 Curb your enthusiasm.

Cupcake     cosy night in or fav restaurant?

  Cosy night and the Wolseley for breakfast.

Cupcake     Although the news is generally all doom and gloom at the moment, what do you feel is man’s greatest accomplishment, so far?

 Obama in the White house.

Cupcake     Bath or shower?

  Shower.

Cupcake     If you could only take one bottle of good wine on a desert island which would it be, red or white?

  I don’t drink.

Cupcake     Chocolate or cheese?

 Chocolate or CHEESEcake.

Cupcake     What would say is your most annoying habit? and best attribute?

 Too many to mention. Being single- and I wonder why.

Cupcake     Beatles or Santana ?

 Beatles. 

 Cupcake     What  would your ’bucket list’ include? name  4 or 5 things you simply have to do  before….

 Return to the Cook Islands, meet Woody Allen, raise a monkey and beat David Pugh at squash!

Cupcake    What’s your signature dish in the kitchen, beans on toast or the Sunday Roast or?

 My step-mums healthy rice dish.

Cupcake     ice cream or summer pudding?

 Ice cream and cheesecake from pizza express ( please don’t tell anybody)

Cupcake      spend or save?

 Should save, have spent.

Cupcake     What is the best bit of advice anyone has given you?

  Work hard and be nice to people.

Cupcake     do you forgive easily?

  Yes.

Cupcake   favourite  Beatle record?

 The White album. 

Cupcake          gym or run

  Gym.

Cupcake          cashmere or silk

Cupcake          What is your favourite magazine?

 Empire.

Cupcake          Bird or beast?

 Always birds.

Cupcake          What is your favourite pudding?

  See above- this is now a commercial for pizza express.

Cupcake  Are you happier with the dresscode of smart or casual?
