CHELSEA… IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

 

The Chelsea Flower Show opened today, the day when the celebs, press and the Queen get to preview the whole show.

I have been lucky enough to go several times on the Press day, spent many happy hours looking out for the perfect garden, furniture and plants oh and of course the designers, and it’s worth every second. You do need a healthy bank balance to actually make a purchase or two but if not it is still so inspiring to see what can be done.

One  of those years a friend and I made it to the press day, parking was a nightmare, food was OK’ish but we got to see every garden and we had a little competition to see who could clock up the most famous person… would Richard E Grant beat Ringo Star or maybe Imelda Staunton or Alan Rickman (he was my personal fave) anyway we had a great giggly day…. came home knackered and poor!
