WOMAN OF A ‘CERTAIN AGE’ DO SOAP LAND THINK THEY ARE ALL SUCKERS ???

 

WOMAN OF A CERTAIN AGE …. that’s the saying used for a women in or heading for middle age! nowadays it’s so hard to tell what age a lot of women are to be honest.

But in the land of  the ‘soaps’ these woman are being portrayed as easy suckers… Emmerdale with the landlady Diane and the romancing con man, now it’s good old Corrie with the seventy year old Audrey and the gigolo who didn’t but was going to fleece her.

Are we lead to believe here that once you get to a ‘certain age ‘ you are grateful for any mans attention and turn in to a lovelorn sucker… I think NOT, I know lots of women that are doing very well, looking a million dollars and are not in the least bit desperate for a man attention, of any kind.

So think on directors, producers and writers of these story lines…. stop it, oh and to have two running at the same time, I felt was dumb….
