Last night was the penultimate episode and offered the same Sunday evening feast as the last five. Fashion, romance, intrigue, fabulous characters and acting (Maggie Smith and Hugh Bonneville I love you), stunning sets and one great big serving of Sunday comfort TV.   Announced at the end of the programme was the news ITV are launching a boxed DVD set ‘of the first series’ on Monday November 8th.  Great Christmas present, but better still,  ’the first series’ is code for there are more to  come.
