I have a dog who’s main aim in life is to find the biggest amount of foxes poo and roll in it… if you have not smelt foxes poo it is without doubt the worse smell in the world! She and the smell move from room to room making us all gag… then there is the upset tummy thing going on with her when she has managed to throw down her throat some sort of manky findings on our walks!
 I also have three darling cats, they love to leave me presents… rotting bird remains more than once and very often a gall bladder and tail, sometimes the head too! if they can hide the prey for playtime another day..it can rot behind the fridge or boiler for weeks. Plus there is a visiting stranger (cat) who has not been ‘done’ and loves nothing better than to SPRAY our home via cat-flap.
So, and here’s the thing, I am paranoid about my home sweet home smelling like a animal rescue sanctuary…Â Â and I am always on the look out for ways of keeping everything smelling sweet and rosy.
Here are some of my prize finds…. this room spray from Kai is one of the special few I use, it is the most wonderful uplifting smells fills the home with summer…. lovely to freshen up your linens too.
 
With out a doubt this is my fave for the bedroom Aromatherapy Associates room fragrancer… they have a wonderful range of oils too. I do move this around a bit, if I have mates over to stay I plug it into their bedroom for a little while but selfishly grab it back at bedtime….

 these cones and sticks are amazing for the sitting room oh and the dreaded cat spray area, NAG CHAMPA (available for amazon) and this is my fave angel holder, 
I also love these sticks…they came from Habitat few seasons ago.
 you can’t beat a candle either, this is another fave from Aromatherapy Associates, this one is kept in the sitting room and I have one for the bathroom too.

 this one lives in the loo and is from Napiers, as you see it is well used!
this is a great idea, a ring burner, sits neatly on top of a light bulb, add a few drops of essential oils, turn on and away you go, you can decide on the blends of oils to suit your mood or needs.
and last but special and definitely not least… the delish smell of spring flowers all over the house…. people are surprised when they meet the dog… never smelt I had one!
