CASE HISTORIES

I’ve been loving Case Histories, the BBC’s adaptation of Kate Atkinson’s brilliant novels currently shown on Sunday and Monday nights.   There’s always a sense of anticipation when one of your favourite author’s work is brought to the screen,  but although the wonderfully rich dialogue Kate employs is bound to be lost on TV, there’s no shortage of twists, turns, eccentric characters and the unexpected.  Great casting with Jason Isaacs as Private Investigator Jackson Brodie  and a healthy dose of glam ladies.

If you haven’t caught Case Histories yet, either catch up on BBC i player or make a date for Sunday night at 9.00 pm.

But do dip into Kate’s books, you have a treat in store.
