I had a visit from a dear family friend over the weekend…. she had me in stitches telling me about her menopausal symptoms and a trip to her Gyny… I asked her to write it all down for us on H&H…. enjoy it. It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s miserable. Summer is well and truly over, financial markets are in disarray, Cupcake’s hard drive is on the blink and she’s lost all e-mail and internet contact and the world is an uncertain place. But the shining light on the horizon is that Downton Abbey is back – don’t forget, ITV, Sunday 18th September at 9.00. Pure TV heaven. If only for an hour, the world can go away. Marigold x
Go to any beauty counter and you will be overwhelmed by the choice of eye make up. Shadows of every hue, creams of every texture, kohl pencil to give you that exotic look, eye liner for dramatic effect and lashings and lashings of mascara in every colour of the rainbow and every size brush, wand and comb. This morning I had to move over more than once as drivers were coming over on my side of the road towards me ….and I DO MEAN STRAIGHT FOR ME… they were busy overtaking an obstruction on THEIR SIDE of the road… once I was forced up on to the kerb, had to swerve out of the way of a bus and another I had to aim onto the grass verge…. what the hell people!!! do you NOT know the highway code?
