I have purchased a CLARISONIC, Skin Cleansing…not the cheapest thing I have for my skin but it is paying off…
We test a lot of products on hangupsandhandbags, including a lot of skin products, I have a sensitive skin so I am fast becoming an expert on what my skin likes…and hates. (THESE YOU WON’T HEAR ME TALK ABOUT, AS MY MUM SAYS “IF YOU CAN’T SAY SOMETHING NICE DON’T TALK”)
Over the last few years we have found some amazing skin products but I thought it was time to take it one step further and having heard great reports of the CLARISONIC Â was inspired to get one myself.
The Clarisonic is a professional-calibre brush that uses a gentle sonic micro-massage action to cleanse deeply.… and after a day in London with tubes, traffic fumes and general dirt in the air you need this help!
I made an extra investment by buying the ‘sensitive’ head too, the head that comes with it is fantastic on the body though so not wasted?
It gently clears the pores without harsh abrasion or chemicals. Clinical results include 6 times more makeup removed than manual cleansing… there is a lot more of the ‘science’ bits like “sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second”, but you can check all that out for your self…. I am more interested in what it has done for me.
It is a nifty little thing, about the size of a shoe, (assuming you are a size 7) has various speeds and timers, which for me is great, each area has a beep when you have done your 20 seconds on the forehead, 10 seconds on the cheeks and 20 seconds on nose and chin…. these you can change along with the head for body etc.
My skin feels amazing and really does absorb my serums and creams, I have less unsightly pores and I am told my skin “is feeling so soft”

My only slight beef really is the products the brush comes with, they are not up the to quality of the Clarisonic itself.. I now use it with some of my own finds and am loving it…so is my face. All in all a good buy…WORTH EVERY PENNY x
