BUILDERS ARE NEARLY FINISHED……PHEW
They have been lovely, kind, witty and filthy (not in a sexual way, natch) but every single room in the house is covered in gritty dust….water stains and builders butts…
my hands were shaking as I snuck up behind one to take this pic!…. this one is the least hairy!
We now have a semi functioning loo…. and an ‘almost there’ wash basin… the tap is gorgeous it has to be said..
We nearly have a new shower… the tiles are in/on and the glass door/shield is up…not sure what you call it but it looks good.
It will all be worth it when they have moved out and I can clean, my OH tells me I am a control freak and have to have things clean and tidy… I think I am just normal and don’t enjoy peeing right after a plumber has used the loo and the water was turned OFF…just saying.
This time next week I will be smiling (I hope)
