At last, a victory for common sense. Congratulations to the Home Secretary Theresa May for deciding Asperger’s sufferer Gary McKinnon will not be extradited for hacking into computers at the Pentagon. This whole sorry story would have potentially ended in tragedy, had it not been for the brave and consistent battle put up by Gary’s mother, Janis Sharp, whose love for her son and endless courage defied the red tape, politics and beaurocracy surrounding this case. Who are the disabled parking police who think it is their right to criticise who does, and doesn’t park in the designated disabled bays? I refer not to traffic wardens or officials, but to members of the public who at the first opportunity to interfere, ask if people have a right to park in the designated spaces.
